Learning for all agesMarketplace Literacy programs in Argentina were designed and provided to both children and adults. Sessions with children were more focused on providing basic knowledge and dental care. Additionally, technology-related skills were also taught such as using social media in an entrepreneurial way, 3D printing, and how to search the internet effectively and accurately. In comparison, the training utilized with adults is more traditional and emphases how to become a better consumer/entrepreneur in subsistence marketplace. All sessions, including dental care, are free to every participant.

Marketplace and Maker LiteracyOur local partners in Argentina were among the first to bring 3D printing and maker literacy into our program. This approach provided a teaching tool to gain attention and interest and to provide consumer literacy (evaluating something made from a 3D printer as a customer) and entrepreneurial literacy (making something and learning how to build a business around it).
